52+ Amazing Manga and Anime Drawing Style and Ideas
Draw first with light lines, and then draw them with darker lines as soon as you make sure everything is in the right place. This is especially useful for larger or more complex structures.
Clear lines are easier to erase if you make a mistake, and they are easier to make (you do not need to press hard on the pencil so that your hand is not tired).
Even if you are drawing in digital form, it is still a good idea to first draw a sketch, and then transfer it to more clear lines.
Tracking your own lines will also work as another exercise to help hold your hand.
Try to draw as few lines as possible. If you made a mistake in your first line, it would be useful to add more lines until you get the correct line, but do not sketch and draw additional lines just for fun. If you make too many mistakes, delete the part of the drawing that starts again.
